Our last adventure of the summer.
Supposedly
Sleeping Bear Dunes is ranked one of the most beautiful places to visit in the U.S.A.
Keion had a soccer game in
Traverse City that is just 30 minutes from the sand dunes so we decided to make a weekend out of it.
Fortunately a couple other families had the same idea so Keion had some buddies to hang out with. He needed them most when we decided to stay at the
Great Wolf Lodge!
Perfect place for younger kids but I do think the big boys ended up having a lot of fun as well!

| Emory taking the lazy river to the extreme! She slept for about 20 minutes. |
 |
| Emory looks just like Kylan in this picture (surprise). The wind was blowing right in her face so she isn't doing her "normal' smile. |
 |
| Those little dots on the beach...Keion and Grant! Gives a little bit of a perspective on how high you really are because the dunes can be very deceiving. |
 |
| Overlooking the Dune Climb. |
 |
| A youth group racing down the dune. Keion and his friends jumped in, as well as Kylan. I have that on video and when I get it from our friends I will post, so hilarious! |

This was
breathtaking! It took the boys 20 minutes to climb back up, that's how
steep that climb is, and those boys are in shape. They had to bear crawl
their way up. It was definitely the most amazing view.

| I just couldn't resist! |
We had an amazing time at the dunes. We have our Michigan bucket list that we want to get through before we leave here.Oh the thought of moving is just heart breaking and I am not ready. We are excited to move on and be closer to our families but we have made so many wonderful friends here in Michigan and it will be very difficult to leave. 9 1/2 more months is all we have to live it up in MI!
