I know, I know

I really wanted to get a post in once a week.
I know that is what I said I was going to do but...
This past week we had a birthday and a visitor!
We were all having too much fun and I just couldn't pull myself away to blog.
Kylan was lucky to have his brother, Kevin, visit during his birthday week.
We all had a blast with him here.

For his birthday, Kevin gave Kylan a gift from Hermes. Kevin always gives fun, unique gifts.
We are all anxious for spring to arrive and for all the snow to melt. We also look forward to other family coming to visit...we can't wait!

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
I really don't think this "holiday" is that big of a deal. You should be telling the people you love that you love them all the time and showing them all the time, not just on Feb. 14th. I know it is not that cut and dry but you know what I mean.
I think those who don't have a Valentine think more about this "holiday" than those who do.
With all that said, I did get Kylan and Keion the traditional caramel chocolate covered heart and some buckeye chocolates (I get them the caramel heart every year). A friend made them and let me tell you, they are the best chocolates ever.
If you are local and need a gift for someone and want to do a sweet treat, I'll give you her number, her work is to die for.
I hope you are all having a "love"ly day and tell those you love, you love them EVERYDAY!

It's Finished

The book case is finally finished!
It turned out better than expected considering I did it all by hand, no power tools involved (other than the initial cuts at Home Depot). I got the plans off of a fun blog called Knock Off Wood. If you want to do a fun project check it out.

I've yet to take a good photo of Keion playing basketball this season.
His team is AMAZING. You really wouldn't believe it. You can tell by the line up that the boys are huge. Keion really is an average size kid. You wouldn't know it looking at the boys he is standing next to. They make him look like he is a shrimp.
Just look at the boys at the end, they are closer to Keion's size.
We won this game 60-13.
Our coach appologized to the other coach before the game started, no matter what he does or what combo he puts in the game, we always smoke the other teams.
