"Up North"

We decided we better find out what was "up north" before we left Michigan.
When we first moved here everyone would talk about going "up north" and I just couldn't figure out what that was all about and what was so special up there.
Well, we have come to find out just what that means and the reason everyone goes there.
It is a whole different world "up north" compared to where we live. Not that our area is bad by any means but Northern Michigan is beautiful.
We went to Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island (yes, they are both spelled different but pronounced the same, look it up for a little history lesson!), Saulte Ste. Marie, Munising, Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. We had a blast to say the least and wished we could go again. Sorry there are so many pictures but I just couldn't decide which ones to leave out and which ones to include.

Keion was always a good sport and let us make him do all sorts of weird stuff to him!

Weird stuff like this!

Kylan and his little mini-me!

And Keion said that the moustache craze was on its way out...I don't think so!!
We haven't finished yet...in a couple weeks we are going to head to Traverse City for Keion's soccer game and while we are there we are going to hit the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Stay tuned!
