We cleaned garbage, transplanted endangered plants from the paths to a safe spot, cleared paths and mulched the nature center located by the high school.
I loved every minute because we were able to be outside all day for a couple days.
Well, except the last day when it poured rain on us!
A few of us were left behind to clean everything up as the rest ran in for cover.
There is something about working together and doing service that heals the heart and brings you happiness. Just what I and these kids needed.
