Repeat!

What a busy day. Kei had a semi-final game this morning, a soccer game, and then the championship game. It was the last time he would be playing with this group of boys and it made me rather sad. I was trying to maintain my composure as the coach and his teammates gave him hugs and cheered him on. We have come to love these kids and their parents and will miss them when we go. There is no better way to go out than on a win! It couldn't have come against a better team either. The team we played is the top team in the area and it made the victory all the more schweeeet!
As far as soccer goes, well, let's just say Kei did made the only goal, right before he had to leave to his basketball game (he left at half time in order to make it to the bball championship game). It was raining and his new white uniform was covered in mud. His socks had blood all over them because he slid and took a chunk out of his knee. When my friend called me to let me know how they finished, we lost 1-5. We were playing the International girls and they are freakin' awesome. Kei will have another shot at em' during play-offs and maybe we will do a little better then. There's never a dull moment around here!
