Lady Liberty

Here is the first wave, of New York pictures, to come your way. Over the next couple of days you will see many reasons why you should visit this wonderful city in NY. A trip to the "Big Apple" wouldn't be complete without visiting the Statue of Liberty. You can't visit the statue and not, at some point, feel emotional about the country that we live in. I could imagine how immigrants felt when they first arrived to America and knew they had arrived when they saw the glowing torch of Lady Liberty. How overwhelming that would have been.

Here we are leaving the city and heading towards the statue.

Our first sighting of her.

Not like
the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she with silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Honestly, I don't think she is
wearing any
under-
wear! Burrr.

This is a picture taken from the feet of the statue with the city in the back.

Can you see the hidden wee?

Kei, are you having fun yet?

Our final glimpse of the statue.

Kei was having a good time at some point.

I really don't think this pictures needs any explanation!
